Delete your Instagram data from VedXAI. All legal documents
VEDCRAFT, LLC d/b/a VedXAI · Last Updated: October 6, 2026
This page explains how to delete the data that VedXAI holds from the social accounts you connected, and how to check on a deletion request. Sections 1 to 4 cover Instagram (Business and Creator accounts). Section 5 covers LinkedIn and X. It is part of our Privacy Policy; the Instagram details are in the Instagram and Meta section.
When you connect Instagram, VedXAI stores an Instagram account identifier, your username and account type, the permissions you granted, an access token (encrypted, and used only on our servers), and records of the posts you asked VedXAI to publish to Instagram, including the caption, the image reference, the publishing status, and the post link and ID that Instagram returned. Details are in the Instagram and Meta section of the Privacy Policy.
You can use any one of the following. You do not need to use more than one.
If you only want VedXAI to stop publishing, choose Disconnect Instagram on the same card instead. That deletes our stored copy of the access token and cancels queued Instagram posts, but keeps your records.
In Instagram, open your account settings, find Apps and websites (the exact menu name can vary by app version), and remove VedXAI. Instagram then tells VedXAI that access was removed, and VedXAI deletes its stored access token for that account. If Instagram also sends VedXAI a data deletion request, VedXAI processes it as described below and returns a confirmation code.
Write to [email protected] from the email address on your VedXAI account with the subject Instagram data deletion, and include your Instagram username. We may ask you to verify that you control the account before we delete anything.
Deleted: the access token, the Instagram account identifier and username, the account type and granted permissions, the container and media IDs and post links returned by Instagram, the caption and image reference stored with each publishing job, and the provider details inside our publishing event records. Queued or scheduled Instagram posts are cancelled and returned to your drafts.
Kept: your VedXAI account, your own drafts and posts, and a minimal audit record of past publishing activity (a job identifier, its state and timestamps, a one-way hashed reference to the Instagram account, and event types) so that past activity remains accountable.
Not affected: posts that were already published stay on Instagram, because they live on Instagram. Delete them in Instagram if you want them removed there. To delete your whole VedXAI account, email [email protected].
Every deletion request gets a confirmation code. Use it on the status page:
https://app.vedxai.com/data-deletion/status/<your confirmation code>
The status page shows only whether the request was received, is in progress, or is completed, and the dates. It does not show any account or personal details. Keep your confirmation code private; anyone who has it can see that status.
Sign in at app.vedxai.com, open Social Media › Settings, and choose Disconnect on the LinkedIn or X card. Disconnecting deletes the stored access tokens for that account and the VedXAI posts linked to it. Posts already published on LinkedIn or X stay there; delete them on the platform. You can also remove VedXAI in the platform’s own connected-apps settings. To delete your whole VedXAI account or ask about any other personal information, email [email protected].
